(Rock Island, IL) -- Two historic structures on Rock Island Arsenal will soon be gone.
The former golf course clubhouse, and the stone bridge near the former driving range are being demolished.
The clubhouse, built in 1906, is no longer used as part of the revamped 9-hole golf course.
The stone bridge is even older, hasn't been needed in over 100 years, and is unsafe.
Both structures are too expensive to upkeep.
No timeline for demolition has been released.
