(Iowa) -- Iowa's Secretary of State issues a directive to county auditors statewide.
The directive comes after some voter registration records were found to list post offices or other commercial mailing locations as a voter's residential address. Auditors are instructed to review their voter registration records, look for such cases, and instruct voters to complete a new voter registration with a correct residential address.
The Secretary of State's directive clarifies that voter registrations in Iowa must reflect a voter's residential address, not a mailing address.
