(Henry County, IL) -- The man accused of killing 11-year-old Trudy Appleby is asking a Henry County judge to remove herself from the case.
Jamison Fisher faces three counts of first-degree murder in connection with Appleby's 1996 disappearance.
In a handwritten letter to Judge Norma Kauzlarich, Fisher claims he was treated unfairly when he was denied two public defenders and an investigator.
He's also arguing there's not enough evidence against him because Appleby's body was never found.
The judge hasn't responded to his request.
