Nominations Open For Coolest Thing Made In Iowa

(Des Moines, IA) -- Nominations are open for the Coolest Thing Made in Iowa.

The contest is designed to showcase the variety of goods made in Iowa.

Products nominated in the past include a NASCAR Steering Wheel, paring knives, fire hydrants and a self-propelled baler.

This is the third Coolest Thing Made in Iowa contest, which highlights Iowa's $43 billion dollar manufacturing industry.

Nominations close March 27th with the winner will be announced in June.
