Flood Warning In Effect After Quad Cities Gets 5-Inches Of Rain This Month

(Davenport, IA) -- The Quad Cities has had more than 5-inches of rainfall this month and more is on the way.

Davenport has activated it's flood plan as rivers rise and a flash flood warning goes in effect at 5:00pm Friday afternoon for the QCA.

Flash flooding is possible on area creeks and rivers as storms that can produce heavy rain, damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes sweep across eastern Iowa late Friday afternoon.
