(Riverdale, IA) -- The union representing workers at Arconic say they've reached a tentative agreement with the company.
United Steelworkers Local 105 says their committee is recommending approval of a three-year contract that would see annual wage increases of 5%, 4%, and 4%, and no increase in healthcare premiums.
The 1,800 Arconic workers at the Riverdale facility had voted Friday to go on strike if a deal wasn't reached.
The current contract was extended Saturday to allow negotiations to continue over the weekend.
