(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Police say there is no evidence of a shooting following reports of gunfire near a charter school graduation in Cedar Rapids.
The reports followed a verbal argument between a small group of students near the Veterans Memorial Building after the Empowering Excellence Charter School graduation.
The Cedar Rapids Police Department says officers were already on scene for the event and investigated the reports.
However, they found no evidence or credible witnesses to confirm that any shots were actually fired.
