(Iowa) -- Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has issued a harvest proclamation regarding weight limits and transportation of grain, fertilizer, and manure.
The proclamation allows vehicles transporting corn, soybeans, hay, straw, silage, stover, fertilizer, and manure to be overweight without a permit for the length of the proclamation. While vehicles are allowed to be overweight, they are not allowed to exceed 90 thousand pounds. The proclamation applies to all Iowa highways, not including the interstate system, and is effective immediately through October 10th.
