ROCK FALLS, Illinois - Rock Falls, Illinois Police are asking that if anyone has information about a body found in a vacant apartment to come forward.
KWQC TV6 reports Rock Falls Police were called to to the 400 block of 4th Avenue on Saturday just before 2:30 p.m. when a person was found dead inside a vacant apartment unit.
The person has not yet been identified but an autopsy was ordered. Police say the death is suspicious in nature.
The Illinois State Police and the Sterling Police Department are assisting in the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Whiteside County Crime Stoppers at 815-625-STOP
