Davenport Man Accused Of Killing Uncle Has Long Police Record

DAVENPORT, Iowa - A murder investigation continues in Davenport after 46 year old Danial Bradley was found dead Wednesday evening at the Relax Inn on North Brady Street.

The suspect is Bradley's nephew, 25 year old Trai Anderson who is being held on a $2 million cash only bond.

KWQC TV6 reports Anderson contacted Bradley asking if he could visit him at his room at the Relax Inn. Bradley was stabbed several times and later died at a hospital. Davenport Police continue to investigate.

Anderson has had a number of run-ins with the law.. TV6 reports the Iowa Department of Corrections records shows Anderson was paroled July 23. He was serving up to five years out of Black Hawk County for 2nd degree theft and one year in jail for possession of marijuana, 2nd offense.

Anderson was sentenced to up to five years in August of 2014 for assault causing serious injury, burglary and possession of marijuana in Scott County. He was released from prison in April of 2016.

In 2013, Anderson was arrested on two counts of home invasion in Rock Island County. In that case, Anderson and another man broke into a Moline apartment armed with a knife and an airsoft gun. He was sentenced to 30 months of probation. Anderson's probation was revoked in 2014.

Anderson's juvenile record also shows assaults in Scott County.
