(Whiteside County, IL) -- An unmaintained HVAC system is being blamed for a house explosion in Whiteside County.
The blast happened around 5:30 p.m. last evening on Kruger Road between Morrison and Fulton.
The Whiteside County Sheriff says no one was in the home at the time of the explosion, and no firefighters were injured battling the resulting fire.
