President Duterte declared martial law across a large part of the southern Philippines. The reason is simple. Islamic terrorists have killed at least 21 people fighting the government.
Duterte has his faults. The Islamic terrorists are killing Catholic priests. There is no good solution for the future in the Philippines. The islands used to be governed by the United States, but their future is now in the hands of the citizens of the islands.
