Historic State Tax Credits Will Renovate Two Davenport Buildings

Two historic buildings on Brady Street in Davenport will receive state historic tax credit to renovate them into apartment buildings.

Hibernian Hall and the First National Bank buildings will receive $750,000 from the state.

Every year, Iowa awards historic building tax credits to help preserve them and the state's history. Iowa selected a total of eight building projects this year totaling $29 million in grant funding.

Several other buildings in Davenport received historic tax credit from the state in the past.
