Davenport Police are asking for help in locating a white SUV possibly involved in a hit-and-run last Saturday, August 3rd.
Police say a 24 year old motorcyclist was heading north on Gaines around 3 a.m. when a driver in that SUV ran a stop sign on 16th Street. The motorcyclist hit the side of the SUV and that driver kept on going. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with serious injuries and is expected to recover.
Police are searching for that SUV that likely has damage to the driver's side.
