DAVENPORT, Iowa - There is some controversy over the sale of the old Lincoln School at 7th and Pershing in Davenport.
The school has been closed for several years and the district approved the sale of it to a local non-profit. KWQC TV6 reports the $30,000 price tag is what is causing the problems. Some say the district turned down higher offers.
The State Auditor is now looking into the sale.
