Iowa Communities Begin Closing Playgrounds Due To COVID-19 Outbreak

A handful of Iowa cities are closing down their park playgrounds during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The closures are as a precautionary measure to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Bettendorf: Park playgrounds closed until further notice.

Davenport: Park playgrounds closed until further notice.

LeClaire: Parks closed until further notice, including ball fields and the skate park.

West Burlington: Park playgrounds and play structures closed until further notice. Closed areas will have signs posted by the Public Works Department.
