Starting Thursday, the Government Bridge will be temporarily closed due to work being done at Lock and Dam 15.
Officials say the work will result in the closure of pedestrian and vehicle traffic on Thursday and last until Saturday, May 9th. Work will begin at 8:30 AM and go until 2:30 PM.
Work will then pick back up on Thursday, May 14th and continue through Saturday, May 16th.
