Illinois High School Football Moved To Spring

High school football in Illinois is moving to the spring, and changes are coming for most other sports as well.

Governor JB Pritzker on Wednesday ordered new regulations for sports, covering everything from t-ball all the way up to high school.

Essentially, sports are now graded on coronavirus risk, and the riskier sports are being delayed or canceled.

The IHSA announced Wednesday that high school football, girls' volleyball and boys soccer will be moved to the spring because of the coronavirus risk.
