Davenport police are releasing the names of two people killed following a Saturday afternoon motorcycle crash.
According to police, officers and medic crews were called to the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Eastern Ave. just before 4:30 Saturday afternoon.
Police say a motorcycle, traveling eastbound on Veterans Memorial Parkway, was struck by an SUV traveling northbound that was turning left onto Veterans Memorial Parkway.Police say the passenger on the motorcycle, 32 year old Sarah Robertson and the motorcycle driver, 46 year old Marvin “Todd” Coble were taken to the hospital. Sara died Saturday from her injuries. Todd passed away on Sunday.
The investigation remains active and is being conducted by the Davenport Police Traffic Safety Unit.
