Moline police have charged a man in connection with a deadly hit and run. Police accuse Yacoub Gadiaga of hitting and killing 20-year-old Abrham Eneyew in the 36-hundred block of John Deere Road on August 12.
Investigators say Gadiaga stopped because he thought he hit a deer, but didn't find anything and drove off. He's charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
Investigators say they determined Gadiaga was eastbound on John Deere, when he struck Eneyew, who was walking in a lane of traffic.
