Police in Davenport are identifying three people killed in a Thursday morning crash.
On Monday the department identified three people who were killed in a two-vehicle crash as 21 year old Dylan Marquardt, of Blue Grass, 26 year old Kendall Schmook, of Rock Island, and 22 year old Richard Connor, of Mason City.
Davenport police, fire, and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Kimberly Road and Wisconsin Avenue for a serious crash just after 12:00 AM Thursday.
Police say a car driven by Marquardt was northbound on Wisconsin Avenue and failed to stop at the stop sign and broadsided an SUV that was driving east on Kimberly Road. Investigators say both vehicles then slid into the ditch and became engulfed in fire. One person was ejected from the SUV during the crash.
Schmook, Connor and Marquardt were pronounced dead by fire and EMS. No one else was in either vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.
