Bureau County Sheriff Dealing With Political Sign Vandalism

As Election Day gets closer, more people are getting angrier in one western Illinois county.

The Bureau County sheriff says he's seen an uptick in complaints about damaged, destroyed and stolen political signs.

There's been a rash of calls about signs in the Princeton, DePue and Tiskilwa areas. The Princeton Police Department said on Facebook Wednesday that anyone with information or video related to a political sign related incident is asked to contact Bureau/Putnam County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-939-6929.
