Man shot during Davenport domestic disturbance on Saturday has died

(Davenport, IA) -- A Davenport man shot during a domestic disturbance on Saturday has died.

On Monday, Davenport Police announced 33 year old Nicholas Brown had died from injuries sustained in the shooting. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident. No other information, including whether any arrests have been made, was released Monday.

Just before noon on Saturday, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Fillmore Street for a call of a domestic disturbance with a shooting. Once on the scene, officers found Brown suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he died two days later.
