(Bettendorf, IA) -- The City of Bettendorf is welcoming two new city council members.
Nick Palczynski and Gregory Jager were both sworn in January 2, at a Committee of the Whole meeting.
Palczynski will be filling the seat of Scott Webster who was elected to the Iowa Senate.
Palczynski has served the 5th ward since January 2023, this month marks his first full term
Jager will be serving the 3rd ward.
He previously served as the city attorney from 1985 to 2013.
Both say they plan to use social media to help residents be informed of decisions made by the council.
