Large Police Presence At Davenport Home Following Reports Of Shots Fired

(Davenport, IA) -- 15 Davenport Police squad cars responded to a home early this morning for reports of shots fired.

Police responded to the home near Sudlow Intermediate School around 3:00 a.m. could be heard using a megaphone to try to get the individual to come out of the home and surrender.

WQAD News 8 reports they were on the scene when a child and a man holding a baby exited the home.

They say a tactical response team entered the house just before 5:00 a.m.

No other details have been released at this time.
