River Transit Resumes In The Quad Cities As Mississippi Recedes

(Davenport, IA) -- The Channel Cat Water Taxi service starts up again today after a three-week break due to flooding on the Mississippi River.

The boats will operate from three of its four Quad Cities docks.

The stop along Ben Butterworth Parkway in Moline, will remain closed for flood cleanup.

The Mississippi River dropped below 15-feet at Lock & Dam 15 yesterday afternoon.
