(Lyon County, IA) -- A couple from Little Rock, in northwest Iowa's Lyon County are in custody following the death of their infant son last year. Sydney and Brenan Schneidermann of Little Rock both face one count of child endangerment resulting in death, a Class B felony. Sydney also faces a first-degree murder charge, a Class A felony. The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) says the death of the six-week-old infant in September of 2023 came as the result of inflicted trauma.
The DCI says both were taken into custody without incident and are being held at the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
