(Davenport, IA) -- Quad Cities drivers are going to have to wait a little longer to start using the Government Bridge again.
The bridge over the Mississippi River to Arsenal Island from downtown Davenport has been closed since March while crews install a roundabout at the Davenport end.
Now maintenance issues with the bridge itself are causing a delay in reopening.
City officials say they hope to open the roundabout August 2nd.
