Trump allies plan to launch an eye-opening documentary where prosecutors and leftists are exposed for attacking President Trump in the legal system in a blatant attempt to stop Trump from becoming president again.
The documentary called “Chasing Trump” is set to be released on April 17th only days after a New York court starts jury selection in the latest case against the former president and the alleged hush money payment to Stormy Daniels. The documentary will dive into the relationships and backgrounds of the prosecutors trying to weaponize the legal system against Trump.
The Daily Mail reports, “With the former president subject to a New York gag order preventing him from attacking witnesses, prosecutors, jurors, and court staff, as well as their relatives, it is another example of how he is relying on MAGA world to dish dirt on his accusers.”
“‘Chasing Trump’ is an important documentary that exposes the leftwing prosecutors weaponizing the government to target my father,” Donald Trump Jr. said. “It’s the first documentary to do a deep dive into the backgrounds of the prosecutors behind the four cases against him and is a must-watch for anyone who cares about preserving the rule of law and protecting our constitutional rights.”
Next week the trial against former President Trump will begin regarding so-called hush money. The case involves alleged falsifying of business records to hide payments to Stormy Daniels back in 2016. Many legal experts have described the case as “weak” but New York is going after Trump with everything they have.
Trump faces 34 charges and denies all of them, as well as every having an affair with porn star Stormy Daniels.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has pursued these charges against Trump and is a major subject of the documentary.
“He is one of the targets of the filmmakers, along with Fani Willis, who is bringing the election fraud case in Georgia, Special Counsel John Smith, who is leading a separate 2020 election case and the classified documents case in Florida, as well as New York Attorney General Letitia James, who won a $454 million civil settlement against Trump for fraudulently inflating his net worth,” the Daily Mail reported.
The trailer for the documentary reads, “Four corrupt, politically motivated prosecutors. One target: Donald Trump. They say they’re upholding the law. But a close examination reveals politics of the very worst kind meant to influence the 2024 election.”
Trump and his allies allege the left-wing using lawfare as the new “witch hunt” against him and is something only seen in third-world dictatorships.
Judge Juan Merchan has already issued a gag order against the former president which to many seems like censorship of his right to freedom of speech, but Trump is suing the judge to have the order overturned.
